Why are my accounts being deleted Ive done everything with in your rules!

well im glad to see im not the only one getting the error msg.. not that its a good thing.. but it sounds like the pof server was attacked and now everyones account just about is screwing up

Hello there, I have been a memeber of pof for about 2 years or so now. I was browsing around and viewing through pages, when I got a message on my cell phone that I had a message on pof. so I click on the inbox tab and this is what I get in return...

I did not upgrade for $81 and I need that money back right now. I thought was only paying a little more than $6.00 a month option and it took out more than 10 times that much out of my bank account. I have deleted my account 3 times and I am still getting e-mails from members. I go to "delete my account" it says it is permanently deleting it but why am I still getting e-mails and why when I click on my account is it pulling it up? Should'nt it say no account, or deleted. This pisses me off, I was a member there for like, 3 years! Then one day I'm told that my account was deactivated due to INACTIVITY when I was using it and sending a great amount of messages to a person that I am still messaging RIGHT NOW even but on facebook now. I sent them an in-site complaint and I got like, an INSTANT response(Can't possibly be human, but they deliberately make it seem 'Human-like')

My Email-response that I got in 10-20 seconds from them goes like this:

Problem? They tell me I'm BANNED for reasons they won't disclose, but they tell me "I must've broken their terms" but they don't tell me what? to my OWN account?! And I had it there for years basically unchanged?! And they threaten me even at the bottom saying that they won't tell me why I've been removed and that any future accounts will be detected and deleted automatically?! For reasons they don't tell me?!

What I feel from this email, being told I was 'inactive' is bullshit, its a Lie, but I somehow got targeted and I got banned for no reason. I am very happy with POF. They give us so much more than the other dating sites eg the Older Dating Agency. You don't get anything for free except their permission to sign on. You are not even allowed to send 1 free message for the privilege of joining with them. With POF you can do that, so stop harping. Go join those other rip offs if you are not happy with POF and you want to pay out pay out and pay out. OR sign out of POF and join up again using different User name AND PAssword. it's so simple it's not funny

The whole concept of POF was to have dating free online. Now that you have a large membership, I continuously get sent offers to upgrade and blocks about people who have viewed me is not viewable without a fee. I am not willing to pay to use your sight if this doesn't stop I will pay something like
e harmony to take over my online social life its much more extensive with its filters and successful with matches than POF.

The whole concept of your site seems to be getting clouded with greed. Leave it as it is, nobody gives a crap about the whole advertising thing. We just want to chat once and awhile. Absolutely ridiculous.

2 years I was not very active and it was ok with the last account. Now
As I finally will return to LA I communicate a lot with my contacts there - but POF deleted again my account. I am really sad as I lost my contacts too.

Even every try do do a new account fails. Have they blocked my IPs? But why???

I have seen these comments and have to say that in Markus's defence, him and his wife are the only two employees of his company.

His site has millions of members, yes that is millions! The site is free (excluding VIP upgrade) so what can you expect.

He would simply not have the man hours to answer the phone and reply to all your emails! His site gets over one millions visits each day and has 32 million members. If you click on Press at the bottom of his site it tells you this.
